ART IDEAS Art is a form of expression of the subject's inner world, a need to manifest and communicate the idea, state, or emotion suggested by a subject of interest. This expression is carried out through various media, including sound, visual, movement, and literature, as well as through other senses such as smell and taste. The artist possesses a certain mastery over these materials through a craft acquired through long practice and innate talent (both). The work produced with this medium transcends in its form and content, synthesizing, sublimating, and generalizing an idea or state. It generates a reflection of the inner world manifested within it, resonating in the perception of those who contemplate it to a greater or lesser degree, according to the observer's affinities and the contextual and cultural understanding that the work itself expresses. The viewer may be more familiar with this understanding due to various circumstances of their own context and history. Many of the great artists throughout history have had spiritual quests and a consistent practice. It is no coincidence that this sensitivity and vision are linked to a sense of connection with something abstract and ineffable. In my opinion, the future of Art will be deeply linked to various forms of Art, Science - Technology, and also with a reliable link to the themes of the depth of Consciousness in the Spiritual, not in the dogmatic sense of some religions, but in the practice of positive inner transformation that some current and ancient teachings promote directly through practical exercises in daily life. CREATION Later, during my undergraduate studies, I made little progress creatively, aside from writing a short story and articles on music and computers. Everything focused on performance, except for the final stage of my thesis. However, since completing my master's degree, I've rediscovered my long-dormant creative drive and have since ventured into writing and experimental audiovisual creation, primarily. My final master's project was an experimental audiovisual piece with spatial sound, based on images of Gaudí and sounds from orchestral and synthesized instruments. I composed the piece, Neus, in Berlin and finished it in Budapest, presenting it at the Making New Waves Festival. It's based on timbral work with bell sounds synchronized with fractal images. Subsequently, I collaborated with Victor Godoy on a 3D animation, Fragment I and Fragment II, based on the graphic work of M.C. Escher, an artist I admire. With the Sigmart collective, we are developing various VR and interactive projects that incorporate Art-Science ideas for playful, experimental, and educational purposes. Interests and Influences. The interests are multiple, mainly within the field of Art and Science, as well as technological applications and their link with education and research on human perception, with the aim of fostering a greater understanding of the functioning of the Mind and Brain and the body as a whole in relation to the aesthetic phenomenon or experience, and its use or influence on the awakening of the consciousness of the users. In music, my interests lie in Classical music from different periods (especially Bach, the Classical period, and most of the Romantic and Post-Romantic works), as well as some important 20th-century figures primarily associated with spatial research and color transformations, such as Jean-Claude Risset and John Chwoning, and mathematical structures linked to these and other sonic phenomena, such as Ian Xenakis. However, I also find many important and transcendental manifestations in traditional world music, particularly Taoist, Buddhist, and Sufi music, which are relevant to my work. Influences: Jean-Claude Risset, John Chwoning, Ian Xenakis, Mandelbrot.
