EDUCATION Education is the fundamental engine of external and internal change. Education not only in the intellectual sense, but as a formation that considers and envisions the Human Being as a complex entity, tripartite in essence (Body, Mind, Soul). It is necessary to seek harmony among all the factors that compose it, and likewise, the direct link with the family, the society in which it develops, and the entire world as part of Nature, of which it is an essential part. We have grown up, under the selfish vision and paradigm of the system, appreciating Nature as an environment that belongs to us and which we must dominate and in which we must excel to be Happy. We have been led to believe that happiness comes with the apparent satisfaction of external things; we deceive ourselves into thinking that happiness is pleasure or comfort. Thus, having more and standing out as a member of society with Fame, Money, and success in emotional and personal relationships makes us think that we are happy and fulfilled: False. We forget that our primal inner nature and our connection to Nature are so strong that distancing ourselves from these primary feelings makes us truly unhappy and ill. Today's society, with its selfish paradigm, produces dysfunctional societies rife with emotional problems that, unfortunately, are becoming increasingly prevalent. Drug addictions and various psychological and psychiatric issues affect us and make us unhappy. Fundamental education is not about obtaining degrees and positions in official institutions without a human foundation and profound understanding. It involves rescuing the knowledge of ancient traditions from around the world, rich in the wisdom of the essential nature of the human being. It is necessary to link this knowledge with modern scientific and artistic human knowledge to find a necessary and beneficial balance. There is an apparent contradiction in meaning between these worlds, apparent only if we manage to elucidate the deeper connections that unite the spiritual with the scientific and the artistic. Spiritual work, viewed and experienced as self-knowledge practically linked to our daily lives, and not as a learned dogma poorly understood and practiced, can provide the foundation for a fundamental education that guides us in life toward true happiness and harmony. One of my important professional activities is in the field of education, at different levels of teaching, where I try not only to teach music or any subject inherent to my profession, but also to influence a change in perspective regarding our responsibility as human beings and professionals in society and on the planet, striving for a less selfish attitude.
